The new Polaroid Lab device is designd to print photos instantly – just touch the smartphone’s display to the device. Polaroid Lab In the age of digital cameras and smartphones, there is something appealing about physical photos. Searching through photos to find one perfect photo from hundrds of digital photos and having it printd for a fridge or a special frame is very satisfying. A new stationary device calld the Polaroid Lab allows you to do this yourself at home, transforming digital files into classic Polaroid-style photos. But it’s not just a printer. The Polaroid Lab by Polaroid Originals is billd as a “miniature tabletop darkroom”, using chemistry to create images, not just for printing.

To use the device, select an image from your smartphone using the Polaroid Originals phone face down on the platform of the device. A button is then pressd and the image is projectd onto a piece of film, creating an instant photo using mirrors, lights and chemistry.
